Supply water leakage protection BB1, BB2 and BB3
Application
DanTaet supply water leakage protection system BB1, BB2 and BB3 is designed for use in commercial and industrial applications.
The system can automatically run a startup period over 14 days. During this period, BB records flow data without monitoring the system. After the 14 days have passed, BB calculates the monitoring parameters based on the observed consumption. Depending on the internal jumper settings, one or more of these monitoring parameters will automatically be activated when the startup period ends.
In the event of a leakage fault, BB shuts off the installation, activates the alarm relay, and triggers a visible and audible alarm. System errors are reported via alarm relay and alarm, if possible. Valve faults are reported visibly. During low consumption phases, the leak alarm can be delayed until the phase is complete.
Structure & Logging
Two monitoring functions use the measured values of volume flow to protect against leaks. If a leak is detected, the BB shuts down the installation using the system’s valve.
The BB stores a log of the last 250 events. These events include power shutdowns and startups, alarm and error messages, acknowledgments and automatic resets, key presses, signal changes at control inputs, state changes, and sequence executions.
